Concerns of Police Survivors is hosting a screening of the documentary “Heroes Behind the Badge” for the Lake of the Ozarks area on Monday, April 15th at the School of the Osage High School Auditorium. There will be two showings; one at 4:30 pm and one at 7:30 pm.
Heroes Behind the Badge recounts the harrowing stories of law enforcement officers who were caught in the line of fire and survived, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
“It is our hope this documentary changes the perception of law enforcement,” said Carolyn Davinroy, C.O.P.S.’ Director of Development. “It is important to support law enforcement officers in our Lake Area and throughout the United States.”
Donations will be greatly appreciated at the door. Proceeds will benefit National Concerns of Police Survivors located in Camdenton, MO and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
Concerns of Police Survivors is a nationwide not-for-profit organization with 53 Chapters around the country. Members of C.O.P.S. are always prepared to help survivors when they need it, where they need it.
