Survived by her family

Flossie “Evelyn” Langvin, 87 of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Thursday April 4, 2013 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. On August 22, 1925 she was born in Broseley, Missouri, the daughter of the late Oliver Greene and Flora Della (Hisaw) Swain. On June 7, 1947 in East St. Louis, Illinois she was united in marriage to John Langvin who preceded her in death on March 1, 1996.

Nine Brothers & Sisters preceded her in death.

She was a longtime, active member of the Assembly of God Church in Barnett, MO. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and active in the PTA. She enjoyed bowling and fishing. Flossie was devoted to her family and her church. Her children said she was the kind of Mother and Grandmother everyone wishes they could have.

Visitation will be on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be on Sunday April 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at New Life Assembly of God Church in Barnett, MO. with Rev. Janice Sidebottom officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.
