The Patient Access Services department at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach recently celebrated National Healthcare Access Personnel Week. This year’s theme was “Leaders at the Forefront of the Healthcare Experience.”
Lake Regional Health System has certified 20 Patient Access Services employees as experts in their field, including two Certified Healthcare Access Managers and 18 Certified Healthcare Access Associates.
“Because we oversee the registration process, we often provide patients and visitors their first impressions of our hospital,” said Shelby Nelson, assistant director of Patient Access Services at Lake Regional. “We begin every patient’s hospital visit and we strive to always provide professional, caring service.”
