We each mark the death of Christ and celebrate his resurrection in different ways over the Easter weekend.
James Hodshon of Camdenton takes to the streets every year on Good Friday and hauls a wooden cross through the streets of Osage Beach.
"Jesus died on the cross for my salvation, and this is my personal testimony to what he did for me, and this is my way of sharing that with the world," he said.
Hodshon, who works at Culver's near Nichols Road in Osage Beach, has been doing this for 10 years. The first two were in Bolivar, and the last eight in Osage Beach where he works.
Hodshon left Culver's about 7:30 a.m. Friday and expected to complete the 32-mile route by late Friday afternoon. His trip took him to Lake Ozark, across Bagnell Dam and back onto Osage Beach Parkway.
Motorists honked, waved and even stopped to get his story and share their blessings.
