  • Local nonprofit organizations, Share the Harvest and LAMB House, will be participating in Feinstein's 16th Annual $1 Million Giveaway To Fight Hunger.
LAMB house is an emergency food pantry for those who "fall through the cracks" and cannot receive food stamps. Share the Harvest, located in Greenview, Mo., serves the Camden County area and provides assistance to those in need in the Lake of the Ozarks region.
All donated food items and money donation will go toward this worthy cause -- feeding the hungry. Each donated food item for LAMB House will be given a $1 and added to monetary donations. A total will be sent to Feinstein Giveaway and they in turn will award an amount to be used for food by LAMB House.
Alan Shawn Feinstein will divide $1 million among nonprofit hunger agencies nationwide in an effort to help them raise funds between March 1 and April 30. Through the challenge, many nonprofit organizations doubled or tripled their usual returns.
