Three event highlights
1 The fifth annual Forget Me Not Ball will be held at 7 p.m. April 27 at Tan-Tar-A to entertain guests and raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association and the families living with Alzheimer’s disease in the lake area are the beneficiaries of the proceeds from this event.
2 The black-tie event will feature a professional dance showcase, a gourmet dinner with desserts by Sugar Loft Cake Shoppe, live musical performances by Eric Mitchell and dancing by LaRoca Studio dancers and open dancing by attendees.
3 “The Forget Me Not Ball is a chance to honor and help those with Alzheimer’s disease,” said Amy Hernandez, event organizer and owner of La Roca Dance Studio. “Studies show dancing can help maintain brain health, so we’re supporting a healthy activity while benefitting a meaningful cause for a truly unforgettable night.”
