Lake Regional Health System will host the free informational forum “Stroke and Recovery” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms.
The forum will be presented by Lake Regional Neurologist Philip Kurle, M.D., and Denise Hagemann, OTR/L, director of Lake Regional Occupational Therapy.
Topics will include an overview of stroke, what to do if you have stroke warning signs and stroke prevention. Also, Hagemann will discuss the benefits of occupational therapy after a stroke.
