  • Carlock and Snow named first team All-Conference in Ozark Conference

  • SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Kullen Carlock, the junior guard from Camdenton who led the Lakers in scoring this season, was chosen to the 2012-13 All-Ozark Conference Team as part of the first team.
    Carlock had a great season, including two games where scored over 30 points. The Lakers finished the season with an 11-15 record, much improved from the previous season's two wins.
    Springfield Hillcrest went unbeaten in the conference race.
    Erik Durham of Springfield Parkview was named Ozark Conference Boys' Player of the Year. Kickapoo's Dick Rippee was selected Coach of the Year.

    Girls
    Whitney Snow, a 5-8 junior guard, of the Camdenton High School girls' basketball team has been named to the 2012-13 All-Ozark Conference Team.
    Snow led the Lady Lakers in scoring, and hit the 1,000 career points milestone midway through the season, as the Lady Lakers finished with a 18-7 record. She was one of 11 players named to the All-Ozark Conference Girls' First-Team, while 11 others were honorable mention.
    Senior guard Andi Haney of conference champion West Plains was named Ozark Conference Girls' Player of the Year, while West Plains Lady Zizzer head coach Scott Womack was named Coach of the Year.
