Wilson has struggled with her weight for years, undergoing her second weight-loss surgery last March, which was filmed for the TV Guide Network reality show Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On. The 44-year-old never hesitated about sharing the experience with viewers. "I just said, 'This is what's happening in my life, and I'm not going to hide anything.' I wanted it to be real," she told TVGuide.com. "It's what I'm going through. It's what a lot of people need to see because they've trusted me to be open with them. It's like a responsibility for me."
