  • Martin Family Band bringing bluegrass home to the Royal

  • The Martins will again be bringing their brand of bluegrass home to the stage of the Royal Theatre. The award-winning family band - they have won several SPBGMA awards and were the 2007 SPBGMA International Band Championship winners - entertains at festivals and other venues with both traditional and contemporary styles of bluegrass, bluegrass gospel and acoustic country.

  • The Martins will again be bringing their brand of bluegrass home to the stage of the Royal Theatre in Versailles.
    Born and raised in the Versailles area, the family band is now based in Jefferson City as they enjoy more and more success in their craft. The Martins features Larita on dobro and vocals, Janice on guitar and banjo and vocals, Dale on guitar and vocals, Jeana on fiddle and vocals, Elvin on bass and vocals, Lee on mandolin and vocals and the youngest, Anne, clogging and fiddling.
    The award-winning family band - they have won several SPBGMA awards and were the 2007 SPBGMA International Band Championship winners - entertains at festivals and other venues with both traditional and contemporary styles of bluegrass, bluegrass gospel and acoustic country. Blistering instrumentals combine with beautiful harmonies on old fan favorites as well as their original songs.

    Cost $10 for adults and $5 for ages 3-18
    Tickets Call the Royal Theatre Box Office at 573-378-6226 to reserve seats or purchase at the door the night of the event, if available. With the popularity of the group, tickets may sell out, so reserved seating is advised.
