  • Osage forensics team takes third in Lamar competition

  • The School of the Osage High School Forensics (competitive speech) team traveled to Lamar, Mo. Saturday, Feb. 16 and left with a 3rd place trophy for sweepstakes.

  • The School of the Osage High School Forensics (competitive speech) team traveled to Lamar, Mo. Saturday, Feb. 16 and left with a 3rd place trophy for sweepstakes. Contributing to the win were:
    Molly Brown, Thomas Roney, and Aaron Rodgers - 4th, 5th, and 6th in Storytelling
    Kristian Hess - 4th in Poetry
    Duncan Phillips 4th in Original Oratory
    Duncan Phillips and Molly Brown - 3rd in Improvisational Duet Acting
    Brian Hanes and Thomas Roney - 3rd in Duet Acting
    Marisol Cepeda and Kristian Hess - 1st in Duet Acting
    Rocky Pope - 6th in Humorous Interpretation.
    The forensics team has been competing since October, and this is the last regular season tournament the team is attending this semester. Now the team is gearing up for the district tournament next Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2.
