  • USDA Rural Development programs focus of upcoming seminar

  • In an effort to assist local businesses and families, the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development have teamed up for an informative seminar.

  • In an effort to assist local businesses and families, the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development have teamed up for an informative seminar.
    Scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, this seminar will be held at the Morgan County Library, located Hwy. 5 and Hunter Rd. north of the Hwy. 5 and 52 intersection.
    Four speakers from the USDA Rural Development offices in Clinton and Eldon will present information on the various programs available through the USDA. Of particular interest will be programs on Business & Industry, Single Family Housing and Community Facilities.
    After the presentation, speakers will answer general questions from the audience and be available to discuss individual and business needs.
    It's a great opportunity to hear what is available to businesses and the general public from the USDA Rural Development.
