Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705 in Laurie recently purchased furniture for a bedroom in the Victim Outreach Center of the Citizens Against Domestic Violence. CADV has just finished building a new facility which will house up to twenty eight women and children. The furniture was delivered just in time for the first residents to move into the newly furnished bedroom in the new facility. Within hours of taking this photo, the room was occupied. CADV is a locally based safe house serving Camden, Miller and Morgan Counties. The funds to purchase the furniture came from a Gratitude Grant awarded to Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705 by The Elks National Foundation.
