  • Lake Regional forum will address heart attacks, risk factors

  • Lake Regional Health System will host the free seminar, “Heart Attacks and Risk Factors,” at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms.
     The forum will be presented by Lake Regional Cardiologist Zubair Khan, M.D., FACC.
    Topics will include risk factors for heart disease and how to recognize the signs of a heart attack. Dr. Khan also will discuss current treatment options for heart disease.
     “By taking certain steps, you can greatly decrease your risk for a heart attack,” said Dr. Khan, who is board certified in interventional cardiology. “Knowing the warning signs can help motivate you to change your lifestyle.”
