Versailles Rural Fire Protection District reports six incidents from the previous week, including a flue fire in a residence.

Jan. 21
Three personnel and one apparatus dispatched for a medical emergency.

One personnel and one apparatus dispatched for medical emergency.
Jan. 22
Eight personnel and two apparatus dispatched to a location on Alum Springs Rd. for report of a residential structure fire. Arrived on scene to find a house filled with smoke. Fire personnel investigated and found fire in the flue. Firefighters checked the roof, the chimney and removed a section of pipe and all burning material from the stove, then used a thermal imaging camera to look for hot spots. Units on scene approximately one hour.
Jan. 23
Three personnel and one apparatus dispatched to a location on Hwy. 5 for a medical emergency. Call cancelled upon arrival. Nothing found at location.
Jan. 26
Four personnel and one apparatus dispatched to a location on Alum Springs Rd. for a smoke investigation. Arrived on scene and found a controlled burn.

Three personnel and one apparatus dispatched for medical assistance.
