A new Education wing was dedicated June 11, 2006, with three half-day preschool classes for three and four-year-olds. Today there are 50 students enrolled in four half-day and full-day preschool classrooms and a Kindergarten. The Academy also offers a Before and After-Care Program.
Continuing its mission to offer a quality academic, as well as religious education, the School began its new Kindergarten Program in September. The Academy also offers a scholarship program, hot lunches, playground facilities and a security system.
The staff currently includes five teachers with bachelor of science or master’s degrees in education, four aides and a food service employee. Elaine Lehenbauer has been Director of the King’s Academy since 2005. She has previous experience as an elementary teacher in three Lutheran schools.
