The Foundation has distributed in excess of $145,000 in funding in Camden County over the past seven years. Foundation President, Gerry Williams attributes this to the generosity of area individuals and businesses, and their deep concern for their neighbors in need.

The Sharing & Caring Foundation of Camden County is a 501C-3 organization formed solely to raise money to assist worthy Camden County non-profit entities. The Foundation provides an organized mechanism by which 100% of funds collected locally can be distributed locally.

Foundation Treasurer, Diann Jacobs indicated that funding requests exceeding $62,000 were received from non-profit organizations across the county. Fundraising efforts completed in 2012 allowed the Foundation to allocate $25,000 in grant funding for the year ahead. The Foundation is hopeful that with increased donor support from individuals and businesses in the community, it will be able to fulfill a greater percentage of grant requests in coming years.
