  • The Central Missouri Chapter of the American Culinary Federation is holding its President's Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Crystal Ballroom at Tan-Tar-A.

  • The Central Missouri Chapter of the American Culinary Federation is holding its President's Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Crystal Ballroom at Tan-Tar-A.
    Guests will enjoy six courses, paired with wine, featuring Neo French Cuisine. The dinner will be presented by Chef Paul Bashinksi and his culinary staff at the resort.
    Menu items will include:
    •Poached Diver Scallop Wrapped in Napa Cabbage
    •Crisp Sweet Potato with Maple Leaf Farms Duck Confit
    •Frog Leg and Bib Lettuce Soup
    •Belgium Endive, Frisee, Goats Bear Farms Goat Cheese
    •Grilled Provimi Veal Tenderloin Served Three Ways
    •Various desserts prepared by pastry chefs of the ACF Central Missouri Chapter.
    Cost is $450 for a table of eight for non-ACF members or $60 for non-member individuals.

    The American Culinary Federation provides accredited educational programs, certifications, competitions and networking designed to enhance professional growth for all current and future chefs and pastry chefs.
