Lake Regional Medical Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, is pleased to announce Joyce Malmberg, R.N., has joined its board of directors.
The uncompensated board provides governance and oversight of strategic initiatives for Lake Regional’s seven freestanding primary care clinics, 18 specialty clinics, an urgent care clinic and three retail pharmacies.
Malmberg is currently the administrator of Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia, Mo., a position she has held since November 2000.
She has more than 30 years of health care experience and training, including serving as director of nursing at long-term care facilities in Waynesville, Mo., and Hermitage, Mo., and administrator for Foster Health Care in Lebanon, Mo., and Webb City Health and Rehabilitation in Webb City, Mo.
“We’re pleased to welcome Joyce to the Medical Group board,” said Michael E. Henze, LRMG board president and chief executive officer of Lake Regional Health System.
“Her health care leadership background will be an asset as we continue to expand access to quality health care services for lake-area residents and visitors,” Henze said.
Malmberg graduated from the Department of Nursing Science of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo., in 1991.
She earned her Missouri Nursing Home Administrator’s license in 1999.
Although Malmberg and her husband, Bob, currently reside in Camdenton, they have a deep commitment to the Miller County community where she and her husband were both raised and raised their children.
