Dr. Sam Brayfield has made it one of his many goals to support efforts to educate the public about child abuse and neglect. One of the ways he pursues this goal is to collect all his spare change and give it to the Child Advocacy Council which is an organization that has been around since 1979 promoting the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
This time around, one of his patients also got into the spirit of turning in his spare change so several pounds of coins were delivered to the Camden County Child Advocacy Council during the holiday season.
Dr. Brayfield is the founder of Kids' Harbor and he has testified before the legislature regarding child abuse laws and in the criminal prosecution of child abuse.
He encourages others to “Save Your Change for Change.” If you, too, would like to contribute your change to the Child Advocacy Council, call their Thrift Store at 346-0003.
