Wayne Wells 82, of Stover, Mo. passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at his home Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Mecklin Cemetery north of Oak Grove, Mo. In addition, there will also be a time of remembrance service held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Versailles, Mo. Wayne was born March 5, 1930 the son of Russell and Edith (LaRue) Wells in North Platte, Neb. On July 10, 2000 he married Mae Wells. He joined her in death on December 3, 2012. He was an auto mechanic for many years, and retired from Vanguard Security. Wayne was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Versailles, Mo., were he had been a past deacon of the church.

He loved to go fishing, boating, being outdoors, and especially loved his cats.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Walter Wells.

Survivors include his sons Todd Wells and wife Torri of Lenexa, Kan., Emery Wells and wife Debbie of Independence, Mo., Clayton Wells and wife Sherry of Hopkinsville, Ky., daughter Maurica Fitzpatrick and husband Chris of Clinton, Mo., sister’s Shirley and Darlene, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
