  • As part of Lake Media’s partnership in support of Buddy Packs, we are collecting food and donations for the holidays. Please help us support the Buddy Pack program which sends a backpack full of kid-friendly food home with area students in need.
During the holiday break, kids don't have access to the free and reduced lunch and breakfast programs at school. To help families in need make it through this stretch, we want to help sup- ply kids who may otherwise go hungry with food during their vacation.
Throughout November and until mid-December, Lake Media employees are taking up a collection of food items that will not expire quickly and can be opened and prepared by a young child, and we invite the public to participate in our drive. We will purchase food items for people who would prefer to make a monetary donation. To donate money, please make checks out to Buddy Packs.
    Types of food needed:
    Peanut Butter Crackers
    Pop-top canned Fruits
    Pop-top canned soup
    Pop-top canned ravioli
100% fruit juice (single serving size)
    single serving dry cereal
    single serving apple sauce
    granola bars
    peanut butter (in plastic jars)
