  • Students at Aurora's Robinson School are back in classrooms today after the Aurora Police Department received a bomb threat for the campus this morning. Aurora Superintendent said students were evacuated immediately to a safe location per the Aurora School District evacuation procedure. Aurora officers searched the entire campus on both ends -- Robinson Elementary and Robinson Intermediate -- because the threat was non-specific. Officers gave the all-clear after the search came up with nothing. Administrators returned students to classrooms to resume the day as usual. "I would like to commend Dr. Page, intermediate principal, and David Mais, elementary principal, their staffs and the custodial staff for the efficient handling of the situation with the safety of all students as the top priority," Decker said. Decker said he believes officers had the suspect in custody by mid-morning today.
