Rodney Schad, Rep.
Q: How can the county maintain and improve roads, given the current budget?
A: These economic times may not be the time to improve roads but conditions will improve and then we can fix some of the chronic problem areas with permanent solutions.
Q: What is the commission's role, if any, in economic development?
A: Being proactive in drawing and welcoming new industry to Morgan County is important to me and the people of Morgan County. Good jobs make good communities.
Q: Do you see a place for planning and zoning anywhere in the county in the next four years, why or why not?
A: I personally don't believe it would pass if it was on the ballot. Health and safety are the two benefits that would help the county. Most people enjoy the freedom to utilize their property as they wish and do so with out having a negative impact on their neighbors and communities. As county commissioner I would do what is required of the commission to accomodate the voters of Morgan County.
