Join the Heart of the Ozarks Professional & Business Women as they host Jackie Rasmussen on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Kirkwood Lodge, 1192 Lakeshore Dr., Osage Beach.

There are a number of key areas where a business owner’s ability to think and act largely determines the long-term success or failure of the business.

The greater clarity business owners have in each of these areas, the better decisions they will make and the better results you will achieve.  PBW encourages business owners to get in the drivers seat by attending this session and learning more about the “Keys to Business Success.”
As a Business Development Specialist, Rasmussen provides assistance to business owners, existing & prospective, on topics associated with successfully owning and managing a small business (business licensing, planning, marketing, management, financing, etc.).  Assistance is provided via one-on-one consultations, workshops & seminars or referral to on-line or printed material.

Rasmussen also regularly provides leadership, team-building training and facilitation assistance to area groups & organizations.   She has been with University of Missouri Extension for the past 20 years.  She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she completed both of her degrees — a BS in Marketing & Management, and a Masters in Business Administration.  Jackie and husband Lyle have lived at the Lake of the Ozarks for the past 20 years; they have two children – Erin, 13, and Luke, 11.  Rasmussen currently serves as a board member on the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Sharing & Caring Foundation of Camden County.
