Three swimmers received a scare when they felt an electric shock on the Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend. Two children and an adult were swimming on the 5 mm in Horseshoe Bend.
Electric repairs were being done on a nearby dock. The three in the water felt symptoms of an electric shock. Electricity was immediately turned off while the swimmers got out of the water. All three swimmers refused treatment.
The exact cause of the shock is currently under investigation.
The Lake of the Ozarks has already seen three electrocutions since July 4.
