Camdenton School District Oak Ridge Intermediate Student Council recently hosted a 5k Run/Walk/Stroll/Roll to raise money for Special Olympics.  The students were required to pick one Community Service project and chose, as a group, to host a 5k to benefit the Special Olympics.  Students worked hard all school year in preparation for the event that was hosted the evening of April 26 at the Bob Shore Stadium.  The event raised a total of $405 with all monies going to the Special Olympics.  A check is being sent to the Missouri Special Olympic Headquarters in Jefferson City.
