Osage wrestlers finished their club season in Sedalia May 5-6, competing in the Freestyle/Greco-Roman State Championships.

The team is comprised of first- and second-year wrestlers that continue to show improvement with every match. Osage had two medalists.

Brad Russell competed in the 132-pound weight class, where his brute strength and determination helped him secure a second-place finish for the Greco-Roman division.

The lone female competitor on the team, Breauna Mundy, placed third in Greco-Roman.

This finished off a banner year for her. She placed second at girls' state, fourth at girls' nationals, and second in USA districts.

Honorable mention goes to Chris Johnson, who wrestled in one of the hardest weight classes in the tournament. He scored two pin falls in the Greco-Roman division.
