Junior volunteers assist staff with basic manual tasks on patient floors and in other hospital departments, as assigned. Participants gain valuable work experience while helping others in need.

Junior volunteers will receive service pins and certificates upon completion of 50 hours of service. Also, deserving individuals often are given letters of recommendation to accompany their college applications.

Applications for Lake Regional’s 2012 Junior Volunteer Program must be completed and returned to the Auxiliary office by Friday, May 18. Applications received after May 18 will not be considered. Orientation will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, June 8, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
