Cole Camp 51, Lady Tigers 45
The VHS girls' basketball team was unable to hold a 12-point halftime lead and lost their regular season finale at Cole Camp on Thursday night.

Versailles led 30-18 at halftime. Cole Camp outscored the Lady Tigers 15-5 in the third quarter, then finished the rally with a 18-10 margin in the fourth quarter

Junior Akrista Greer led Versailles with 15 points and senior Jessica Webb scored 13.

The Lady Tigers finish the regular season 9-15 overall. They play Dixon tonight at 8:30 in the opening round of the Class 3, District 10 tournament at Versailles High School.

The VHS boys' basketball team finished the regular season Friday night with a home win over Tipton. The Tigers (9-15) open the Class 3, District 10 tournament Tuesday night against Cole Camp at Versailles High School.

Versailles beat Cole Camp at home last week.

Climax Springs

Cougars 63, Stover 53
The Climax Springs boys battled back from a 12-point deficit on the road to win their final game of the regular season Friday night.

The Cougars trailed 23-11 after the first quarter. Climax Springs outscored Stover 34-20 in the next two quarters.

Sophomore Chase Wallace had a career-high 26 points and Cameron Green added 14 points.

Climax Springs (20-5) plays Niangua at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the opening round of the Class 1, Dsitrict 6 tournament at Bolivar High School.

The Climax Springs girls suffered a loss in their regular season finale. The Lady Cougars (8-16) face Halfway tonight at 5:30 in the opening round of the Class 1, District 6 tournament at Bolivar High School.

Cougars 60, El Dorado Springs 56
In a rare close game amid their 12-game winning streak, the Cougars came out on top Thursday night at Class 3 El Dorado Springs. Climax Springs had three players in double figures, led by Mike Buerge's 21 points. Cameron Green had 14 points and Chase Wallace added 12.

The Macks Creek girls' team fell to Halfway on Friday night. The Lady Pirates (18-7) scored just four points in a pivotal third quarter.

Macks Creek, the No. 2 seed, plays Wheatland tonight at 7 in the Class 1, District 6 tournament.
