  • Chambers of commerce endorse uniform project boundary for lake

  • The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is calling for support of the amendment offered by Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Claire McCaskill to require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to amend the project boundary of the Lake of the Ozarks to a uniform 662' elevation contour.

  • The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is calling for support of the amendment offered by Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Claire McCaskill to require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to amend the project boundary of the Lake of the Ozarks to a uniform 662' elevation contour.
    The Lake Area Chamber's board of directors recently approved its endorsement of the amendment. The Chamber has sent a letter of support for a uniform project boundary at the Lake of the Ozarks to Ameren Missouri and FERC.
    The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce joins with the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lake West Chamber of Commerce in supporting this change to the project boundary of the Lake of the Ozarks. Collectively the three chambers represent 1,500 members and serve an area in Central Missouri that includes Benton, Camden, Miller and Morgan Counties.
