The Harper Chapel United Methodist Church community garden has been growing produce since early May of this year, and it is finally starting to see the fruits —?and vegetables?— of everyone’s labors.

Recently, fresh produce was delivered to both Lamb House and Hope House.

This is the second week that Harper Chapel has been able to donate produce to the local food pantries and they plan to continue all summer.  So far more than 25 pounds of tomatoes, peppers, squash and zucchini have been donated.

Team leaders on the project are Mike and Diane Williams. If anyone is interested in having a plot in the garden, they can call Harper Chapel UMC at 573-348-2617.
