  • Three Pettis County men have been arrested on drug charges after a joint investigation between the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force.
According to a press release issued by the task force, an abandoned Methamphetamine lab and drug paraphernalia was recovered the morning of May 18 by officers at 6623 East Highway 50, Apt. 2, in Pettis County upon executing a search warrant at the residence of Darren Pullen, 29. No one was at the apartment when the warrant was served.
Officers reportedly located a second abandoned Methamphetamine lab in a dumpster in the parking area shared by residents of the apartment complex. They also discovered a boxed Methamphetamine lab outside the entry door to Apt. 6 of the same complex.
Entering the apartment, there were three male subjects there. Officers arrested the three men in the apartment, including Pullen. The other two men were James Matthew Smith, 29, of Sedalia and Terry Lee Whittle, 33, of Sedalia.
Methampetamine and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the apartment, according to the press release.
Two small children in the apartment were turned over to the Division of Family Services.
