Lake Ozark police officers responded to an accidental shooting that occurred Thursday involving a child, according to sources.


The shooting was at a residence in the city, and has been ruled accidental by investigators who responded. No others were involved.

Lake Ozark Police Chief Mark Maples confirmed that the shooting happened, though, because of the nature of the incident, few details were available as of press time.
