The Camden County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Lake-area man last seen five years ago. Shawn Eric Spencer is 5’10”, 130-150 pounds, blonde hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing cut-off blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

Shawn Eric Spencer was reported missing to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office on April 18, 2007.  Shawn was last seen in Montreal, Missouri, on April 4, 2006, by family.  Because it wasn’t unusual for family not to see Shawn for months at a time, he wasn’t reported missing to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office until almost a year after he was last seen.
Shawn was 27 years of age at the time of his disappearance, and is now 31 years old.  He is 5’10”, 130-150 pounds, blonde hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing cut-off blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
Shawn has numerous tattoos on his body, including both legs and arms. His most notable tattoo is on his right shoulder and is that of an 8-ball with an alien standing behind it.  He also has a Jester on an upper arm.
Shawn was born in Blue Springs, Missouri, and then moved to the Camden County area with his family.  He has lived in Camdenton, Linn Creek, and Montreal, Missouri.  He has also lived in the state of California and may have left to return there, but has not contacted family since 2006.  He may have his dog with him, a Rottweiler/Bull Mastiff mix, named “Spencer.”
Shawn has held various jobs in the Camden County area. He has worked as a dishwasher and cook in local restaurants, gas station attendant, automobile detailer, and a laborer at a dock manufacturing company.
Shawn broke his collar bone when he was a toddler, had his appendix removed, and hernia surgery at the age of 14. He suffers from asthma and is allergic to seafood and iodine.
The sheriff’s office has been working jointly with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missing Person’s Unit; Missouri Missing; National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NAMUS); the National Crime Information Center (NCIC); and the University of North Texas Health Science Center in an attempt to locate Shawn.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in locating Shawn. If you have seen him, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please contact the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Wendy Kost, (573) 346-2243, ext. 268.  You may remain anonymous.
