In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Camden County Child Advocacy Council is organizing its second annual 5k run/walk this Friday, April 29, to raise awareness about protecting children in the community. The walk will begin at dusk to help set off the glowing track.

In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Camden County Child Advocacy Council is organizing its second annual 5k run/walk this Friday, April 29, to raise awareness about protecting children in the community. The walk will begin at dusk to help set off the glowing track. The glow represents the children in the state of Missouri who have been abused, neglected or who have lost their life due to the hands of others within the past year.
Each participant will receive a Child Abuse Awareness gift.

Time Gates open at 7 p.m., walk starts at 7:30 p.m.
