  • Miller County deputies arrest three in Eldon meth bust

  • Three people are in jail after a month long investigation into a meth dealing operation in Eldon. On Feb. 26, Miller County Sheriff's deputies arrested Daniel Riggs, 50, of Eldon, Travis Cowell, 33, of Versailles, and Vicki Riggs, 47, of Lake Ozark on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

  • Three people are in jail after a month long investigation into a meth dealing operation in Eldon. On Feb. 26, Miller County Sheriff's deputies arrested Daniel Riggs, 50, of Eldon, Travis Cowell, 33, of Versailles, and Vicki Riggs, 47, of Lake Ozark on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
    Deputies searched Daniel Riggs' home and found a large quantity of what they believe to be methamphetamine. Daniel Riggs and Vicki Riggs were both on probation for 2006 drug possession convictions at the time of their most recent arrests.
    All three suspected in the meth bust are in the Miller County jail. Daniel Riggs and Cowell both have $300,000 bonds. Bond for Vicki Riggs is set at $200,000. All three suspects have case reviews scheduled in mid-March before Judge Kenneth Oswald.
