Climax Springs senior guard Dillion Danforth went off against Stover on Friday night. Both Climax Springs teams picked up double-digit wins over Stover.

Climax Springs senior guard Dillion Danforth scored a career-high 42 and added 13 rebounds as the Cougars cruised over Stover 89-60 on Friday night. Junior forward Cameron Green added 18 points.

The Cougars finish the season 23-1, the best mark in school history.

In the girls' game, Wendy Leas scored 15 as Climax Springs beat Stover 46-34.

Both Climax Springs teams begin their district tournaments next week.

On Monday, the top-seeded Cougars face Halfway at 4 p.m. at Bolivar High School.

In the girls' bracket of the Class 1, District 6 tournament at Bolivar High School, the Lady Cougars take on Fair Play at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
