Boys' games

Climax Springs 76, Lakeland 40
Michael Buerge scored 21 for Climax Springs. The Cougars now sit at 22-1 overall and host Stover for their regular season finale on Friday night.

Macks Creek 75, Niangua 47
Macks Creek senior Dylan Whitworth scored 25, had 14 rebounds and blocked 8 shots in a road win at Niangua on Wednesday night.

Three other Pirates scored in double figures as well, including 24 points from senior Curtis Collins. Nick Thomas and Austin Mitchell each scored 10 for Macks Creek.

Collins had 9 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Junior Dustin Lutz grabbed 9 rebounds.

After a tight first quarter, Macks Creek outscored Niangua 23-7 in the second period. Scott Terry scored 14 and Levi Edwards had 11 for Niangua.

The Pirates conclude the regular season at home on Friday night with a courtwarming doubleheader against Halfway.
