On Sunday morning, firefighters and EMT's found 21-year-old Adrianna Hyten dead on the living room floor of a home on Mace Road.

The Lake of the Ozarks Major Case squad will help investigate the death of 21-year-old Adrianna Hyten of Osage Beach, who died from stab wounds.
Firefighters and EMT's found Hyten lying dead on the living room floor of an apartment on Mace Road at 11:21 a.m. Sunday. Hyten's death is officially being investigated as a homicide and a person of interest in the case is in police custody.
Police arrested Gregory Lucas George, 23, of Osage Beach for violating the rules of his probation and parole. George, a registered sex offender, shared the apartment with Hyten.
Osage Beach police are investigating what appears to be a homicide.

Osage Beach firefighters forced their way into the apartment to tend to Hyten at 11:21 a.m.
Police have taken a 23-year-old male acquaintance of Hyten’s into custody on unrelated charges.
The man, Gregory Lucas George, was arrested for violation of a felony parole/probation order.
The homicide investigation is ongoing. Inquiries about any possible connection between Lucas and Hyten’s death were not immediately answered by the Osage Beach Police Department.
The initial press release was accompanied by an email asking media outlets to refrain from calling, and that further information would be passed along as it becomes available.
