Every once in a while, one is fortunate enough to stumble across one of those unique places that he or she will never forget; one of those places that seems to take people to a different world entirely, leaving them feeling like little kids again. The Butterfly Palace, located in Branson, just a short drive from the Lake of the Ozarks, is one of those places.  While only being a little more than  two hours away from the lake, the Butterfly Palace will take you into another world of child-like awe and wonder.
One does not need to be an entomologist, or even a superb outdoor enthusiast to enjoy and appreciate the wonders to be had there.
The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure centers around an amazing botanical garden filled with pristine, crystal-clear water, exotic plants and more than 1,000 live butterflies from around the world. Guests are invited to enjoy the experience up close and personal as they walk through the exquisite gardens, all the while the fragile yet stunning creatures fly flower to flower before their very eyes.
The gardens are filled with beautiful and exotic plants from around the world that the butterflies frequent in their never-ending search for nectar.  The adventure though, is just beginning as the Butterfly Palace is also home to the challenging Coconut Tree Climbe and the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze. This maze is sure to bring out the problem solver in all of us as the maze is riddled with tricky twists and turns that challenge and appeal to even the most eager.
