83, WWII Army vet owned and operated Alhonna Resort and Davison Cottages of Lake Ozark
Joseph Austin Davison, age 83, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at his residence in Lake Ozark.
Joseph was born July 8, 1926, in Piedmont, Missouri, a son to John and Edna (Price) Davison.
He was united in marriage to Yvonne Hainaut in 1953, in Edwards, Illinois, and to this union two daughters were born.
Joseph joined the United States Army and proudly served his country during World War II.  Joseph and his wife Yvonne, owned and operated Alhonna Resort from 1971-1980, and also owned and operated Davison Cottages of Lake Ozark until 2001. 
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Joanne Gardner, and her husband, Randy, of Lake Ozark, and JoLene Kreutzer, and significant other, Curtis O’Dell, of Lake Ozark; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters Marie Lutmann, of Illinois, and Viola Brockman, of Illinois, along with several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Yvonne, and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach, Missouri.
