Frances E. Newbury, 99 of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Thursday morning June 17, 2010 at the Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.
On December 15, 1910 she was born in Culver, Indiana to the late Charles and Jeanette (Gay) Whittey. She was married to Loyal Newbury who preceded her in death in 1977.
She is survived by:
Daughter Susan Robinson of Osage Beach, Missouri
Son John Nieto of San Antonio, Texas
Grandchildren Sergio Nieto of Ft. Worth, Texas; Celeste Davis of Ft. Worth, Texas and Sabrina Vandenberghe of Loveland, Colorado
Eight Great Grandchildren and she is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews which were very close to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Loyal Newbury, one son in law, Gene Robinson, three sisters, and two brothers.
Mrs. Newbury was a homemaker with many talents including, quilting, knitting, baking and sewing.
She was also an avid bridge player. For many years she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Missouri and later of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Newbury on Saturday June 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri.
Private Interment was held at the Eldon City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lake Regional Hosptial Cancer Center.
