Once again the Associated Press (AP) has proven that the liberal news media will stop at nothing, nor spare any expense, to denigrate all Catholics and their priests.
The article in the March 12-13th issue of the Lake Sun Leader starts by reporting on a David Hawkey of Florissant who has been convicted of sex trafficking.  It then gives the name of another man, Matthew Nichol who has already pleaded guilty in the same sting operation.
No other details of either man are given in the article.  It then goes on to report on a "third man, Catholic priest James Grady," who is awaiting trial.
The bias of this is clear.  What religion are the other two men?  What are their professions?  Why is it so important to know this information about Grady when it isn't important enough to put in this information about the others?  The reason is because he's a Catholic priest.  I believe it would behoove the liberal news media to start policing themselves.  When bias such as this becomes commonplace, as it has, the reporters and the companies themselves lose their credibility.
I hope the convicted offenders serve out their sentences as well they should.  If Grady is convicted I hope he is required to serve his complete sentence.  However, the fact that he is a Catholic priest had no relevance in this article except to disparage the Catholic faith.
Newspapers wonder why they are losing their readership.  This is a perfect example of one reason.
