High school to use system for physical fitness

First National Bank recently made a donation to the School of the Osage for the purchase of a Nintendo Wii video game system.
The donation was presented to football coach and PE instructor Dan Henderson and School of the Osage teacher Gwen Morrow and paraprofessionals Kandy Moriearty and Karen Maher.
A need for the Wii was expressed by Ms. Morrow for classroom use by her students.
This Wii will be used in the classroom so that Ms. Morrow’s students can learn how to develop their own profiles and gain another avenue for physical fitness.
Often in the morning, her students need some form of  physical activity just to get motivated.
Going outside or using the gym is one way to exercise, but the Wii provides a way for them to follow instructions and another avenue of fitness.
Coach Henderson heard about this need and was able to get a donation from First National Bank that allowed the school to purchase a Wii and present Ms. Morrow’s class before they went home for Christmas.
Coach Henderson’s thought was that the anticipation of getting back to school after Christmas and using the Wii would be a good motivator.
First National Bank has been serving the Lake Area for more than 100 years.  The bank currently has five locations in Camdenton, Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, and Sunrise Beach.
