86, WWII vet served in the Navy Air Force
Don P. Dillman, age 86, of Camdenton, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born November 1, 1923, in Lehigh, Iowa, the son of the late Carl and Erma Cavanaugh Dillman.
 On October 6, 1945, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he was united in marriage to Barbara Basler, who survives of the home.
He was a member of the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie.
Don was a WWII veteran having served in the Navy Air Force from 1943 to 1945.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed playing golf.
 In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Paul H. Dillman of Camdenton, Missouri, David D. Dillman and wife Kris of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Timothy A. Dillman and wife Nancy of Montgomery, Illinois; two daughters, Michele Waite and husband Michael of Camdenton, Missouri, and Linda Dillman of Phoenix, Arizona; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Dillman and wife Carolyn of Raleigh, North Carolina; one sister, Alice Vratny of Fort Dodge, Iowa; one brother-in-law, Daryl Basler of Ellensburg, Washington; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie with the Reverend Rick White officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be held at a later date.
