I am relieved and elated that the people have made their voice heard loud and clear, relieved that Obama-care just died

Finally, we had a "tea party" that had results last Tuesday.  In Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states, the voters gave Ted Kennedy's Senate seat to a Republican.
I am relieved and elated that the people have made their voice heard loud and clear. Relieved that Obama-care just died.
The proposed 1/2 trillion cut in Medicare, would make it almost impossible to find a doctor that would accept Medicare.
The proposed tax on better health insurance would impact me because I have auto workers supplemental health insurance.
Hopefully, now we can see at BIPARTISAN health care plan, DEBATED IN PUBLIC, as it should have been in the first place, not a 2000-plus page monstrosity that the DEMOCRATS in the Senate passed to the House.
I would commend Mr. Carr for his research into the defects of our current system.  I have seen too many of them up close and personal.  But all he offered as a solution was Obama-care.
I stand corrected by Miss C.  Except that bad amendments can be repealed.
I remember the 18th amendment, it didn't last very long.
I still think my tax proposal is better than any other of which I've heard
If the individual states collected all taxes, the power and control wold be closer to the people, and the legislative circus in Washington, with all its clowns would have less control.
