Rosalyn Fryhoff, 80, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at the Laurie Care Center. 
She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Henley, Mo., the daughter of the late Kenneth Kleo and Ina Delilah Hickey Robertson.
On June 26, 1948, in Jefferson City, Mo., she was united in marriage to Gene Fryhoff, who survives of the home.
Rosalyn graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1949. She was a registered nurse working at Hickman Mills Clinic, and also as a school nurse. 
She and Gene also owned and operated Fryhoff Real Estate in Sunrise Beach for 18 years.
She was a member of the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie, the Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie, the Lady Elks, was past president of the American Business Women’s Association, and served as Vice President of the MLS Realtors Association in Sunrise Beach. 
In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors, flowers, and painting.
 In addition to her husband, Gene, she is survived by two sons, Steve Fryhoff and wife Patricia of Independence and Brian Kenneth Fryhoff and wife Leslie of St. Charles; two daughters, Linda Frances Alvarado and husband Tom of Belton and Nancy Carol Boatman and husband Dennis of Morrisville, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Robertson of Colorado and Ronald Robertson of Rolla; one sister, Rosemary Schafer of Belton; her step-mother, Helen Robertson of Kansas City, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie with Reverend Rick White officiating. 
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
