At approximately 5:25 Tuesday evening, Camdenton Police officers responded to a one-vehicle accident on E. Highway 54 near the expressway off-ramp to S. Highway 5.


According to the department's press release, Andrew Reedy, 29, drove his green, 2002 Kia Spectra into a concrete median, knocking down several signs, and then traveled down an embankment where the car overturned.

At approximately 5:25 Tuesday evening, Camdenton Police officers responded to a one-vehicle accident on E. Highway 54 near the expressway off-ramp to S. Highway 5.

According to the department's press release, Andrew Reedy, 29, drove his green, 2002 Kia Spectra into a concrete median, knocking down several signs, and then traveled down an embankment where the car overturned.

Reedy was taken to Lake Regional in Osage Beach, where he was treated for his injuries, the release stated, but did not indicate the extent of those injuries.

Reedy was issued a summons for Careless and Imprudent Driving. An investigation is pending, after which further charges may be issued.
