Viet Nam Vet employed as a painter
Gary Wayne Boyce, 57, of Roach, Mo., passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Richard Ellis Boyce and Carolyn Gaye (Barber) Boyce.
He was married to Dianna Smith on Jan. 30, 1971.
He was a Viet Nam Vet in the 82 Airborne Division, employed as a painter, enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs, riding his motorcycle, and loved being with his family.
He was a member of the Combat Vets Association and VFW Post 5923 in Camdenton, Mo.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Boyce; two sons, David Boyce and wife Tamara and Rick Boyce and wife April, both of Roach; two brothers, Rex Boyce and David Boyce both of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Briana, Jordan, Ellis, Paige Alexis, Cole, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents and one brother Ellis.
Services will be held at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home Tuesday Sept 2 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Myron Fesler officiating.
Friends will be received at the at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The body has been cremated under directions of Hedges-Scott Funeral Home of Camdenton.
